made to order monday: a 3 year old's birthday!

flowers, butterflies, ladybugs oh my!
and pink, lots of pink!
that was the request for a three year old girl's birthday party. simple and pretty :)

hard to see the ladybugs on the tower but here they are in the carrier (also have three spots for the 3rd bday)

made to order monday: bachelorette party!

this made to order monday is a day late, but it still counts :)
the theme of this bachelorette party was lingerie. it was the first time i got to make pretty, girly cupcakes!

this was everyone's favorite, but as always i had my own favorite...

... which was this one. i love the detail and perhaps its something i would wear ;)

made to order monday: my birthday (april)

ok so this monday's order is being posted a little late. and technically its not an order as i made them for my own birthday. but i'd love to do the same for someone else's birthday so i am going to go ahead and post them here and now  :)

probably obvious but i love flowers- roses, daisies and hydrangeas are my favorite. and pink!

the highlight of the cake for a lot of people was the "lit" candle. or at least it was at first....

but then i offered them a slice! the cake really was designed as a chocolate cake with rolled fondant icing :)

not the best picture, but it when all the pieces came together it was a very yummy birthday!!

made to order monday: yoga!

my latest cupcakes were for a potluck dinner a local yoga studio (the best in my opinion) Be Yoga holds once a month. they are vegan vanilla with vegan vanilla frosting. not overly creative, i know, but simple pleases the majority. i fell in love with one yoga mat in particular.... it inspires me to practice so i am going to need to hang it on my fridge :)

the first picture is of their logos. they recently merged with another studio so they kind of have two logos, the blue be and the purple lotus flower. they overlay the two but in this case it looked better giving each their own cupcake.

the flowers seemed girly so the vine was supposed to be for the yoga guys :)
